Daniel Efraim Dazcal

Daniel Efraim Dazcal was an Argentine engineer who came to Brazil in 1975 to work on the implementation of the Sharp TV factory in the Manaus Free Trade Zone.
In the 1980s, he was already vice president of Sharp in Brazil, but companies were starting to have difficulty working with electronic components in the country. As a result, he ended up resigning and decided to work as a consultant in the electronics sector.
Realizing that the toy sector in Brazil did not use high-tech components, he decided to start a new venture by founding Tectoy on September 18, 1987.
Unfortunately, he died young at the age of 42 in 1994, and was succeeded by Stefano Arnhold at Tectoy.
