WonderSwan Color / ワンダースワンカラー

The WonderSwan Color was released on December 9, 2000 and features hardware very similar to the original WonderSwan, with the difference being the color screen that can display 241 simultaneous colors from a palette of 4096.

While the original managed to do 40 hours using an AA battery, this one can do up to 20 hours.

WonderSwan Color has exclusive games that run only on it, in addition to being backwards compatible with original WonderSwan games, with a maximum of a slight variation in grayscale.

Bandai got a deal with Square that allowed several games to be ported to the WonderSwan Color, so we have classics like Final Fantasy and Front Mission on this portable.
