The ZX81 was a personal computer manufactured in Scotland by Timex Corporation and released on March 5, 1981, as the successor to the ZX80.

It has a Z80 processor running at 3.25 MHz, with 1KB of memory and a graphics processor with a resolution of 64x48.

It sold over 1.5 million copies.
